I work on Quantum Algorithms, with a particular focus on solving differential equations. My M.Tech thesis centered on developing new primitives for efficiently addressing differential equations on quantum computers. In this work, I developed a quantum Laplace transform using Quantum Eigenvalue Transformation (QET) and the Linear Combination of Hamiltonian Simulations (LCHS) framework, achieving a superpolynomial speedup over classical methods. We are currently exploring its applications to differential equations arising in drug discovery and drug delivery pipelines.
My M.S. thesis focused on developing a general scheme to encode any CSS code within Measurement-Based Quantum Computing (MBQC). Using ZX-Calculus, I designed a universal approach that can implement any CSS code on MBQC very efficiently and in a step-by-step way. This framework contributes to building better implementations of QEC codes on MBQC, which can be useful for Photonic and other emerging implementations that use cluster states as a computational resource.
In this project, I developed a quantum Laplace transform using the Quantum Eigenvalue Transformation (QET) and the Linear Combination of Hamiltonian Simulations (LCHS) framework. This method achieves a superpolynomial speedup compared to classical approaches. We are currently investigating its applications to differential equations in drug discovery and drug delivery pipelines, where efficient quantum algorithms could accelerate molecular simulations and therapeutic development.
My M.S. thesis focused on Quantum Error Correction and Measurement-Based Quantum Computing (MBQC). During this project, I developed a general scheme to encode any CSS code on MBQC. I have used ZX-Calculus to develop this scheme and shown it to be explicitly working for three codes, namely, the three-bit repetition code, the Steane code, and the Shor code. I have also verified this approach using stabilizer evolution under measurements given by Gottesman.
